do we have his leg?

The Bill Veeck's Leg league is a Strat-O-Matic Computer Baseball Game league. It is made up of 14 players from across the U.S.A.

Veeck HOF plaqueThe league began play in April 2000, using the play-by-(e)mail method.

The league's name comes from the wooden leg of colorful baseball executive Bill Veeck (1914-87). The leg is in the trusty care of one of the league members, who in 1999 bought the item to add to his baseball memorabilia collection.

The leg has been used to conduct random draws for the league, as slips of paper are placed in the leg's cavity and drawn at random, like drawing names out of a hat!
